  1. "Simple, humble beginnings." That sentence can be directed to many things in life. The journey to weight loss or a healthy lifestyle has always been a daunting task. I believe that we all are mislead on this subject. It has always been the standard to "hit the ground running," as you stated. A small step in the right direction leads to bigger steps to the end goal. Whenever I exercise, I tend to "hit the ground running." I do this for weeks but tend to get out of routine. I just can't find the spare time to devote to exercising. I lack motivation. I have the inner drive. I simply lack motivation to find the time to keep on the routine of exercising. I would also like to incorporate more water in to my diet.

  2. If I was starting to a healthier lifestyle right now, I would wish I hadn't just finished drinking a cup of Ginger Ale on a plane and would have asked for water instead. I would want to kick my habit of procrastinating going to the gym because I'm "too tired" and cut down on consuming processed sugar. In order to take a step towards making a change for the better, I would drink a big glass of water and head to the gym before dinner.

  3. Thats right the simple beginnings make it easier to make bigger steps. Sometimes it is hard to make that first step into a better healthy life. Just changing your lifestyle just a little bit can help out greatly in the long run drinking water more, parking further from door at the shopping center, and even switching from fried to baked. Baby steps are always better than no steps at all.
